KML"Probably the best village in Spain" (I know you shouldn't really trust anything an estate agent says, but I can happily support this statement as I choose to live there myself). Not too many people (a little over 300) and that's about 100 people per bar and if we all went to the village supermarket at the same time we could make a real queue, something not seen too often here! It's strange to think that when you register here your vote really will matter as you will become a significant part of the voting population. I digress; it's a tranquil spot with a very beautiful monastery (El Monasterio de San Jeroni), but conveniently located with easy access into the larger towns around; Gandia in less than 15 minutes and Valencia in less than an hour (I put in the hour in case the Guardia Civil are reading this; you can do it in under 45 if you pay little attention to your speedo!) So the village is ideal; "What about the house? I hear you ask. I don't believe you'll be disappointed. The main house is the ground floor of a traditional village home in the centre of the village and is designed with two double bedrooms, one single bedroom. lounge, dining room, kitchen/diner, bathroom and cloakroom. one can then pass through a superb patio area which has its own side access from the street to a second dwelling at the rear, rather like a granny annexe or guest suite. Don't underestimate the value of the patio though; life in Spain is often about the pleasure of being able to be outside and this is a lovely spot to enjoy just that. The guest suite provides a self contained one bedroom apartment with separate access via the side entrance and patio; excellent for maintaining privacy when your friends or family are over or perhaps an additional income from rental.
